Editorial Policy

Harbourline is designed to make its editorial standards legible: clear authorship, plain disclosure and a visible route for corrections.

How we work

We distinguish reporting, analysis, commentary and paid or partner material. Contributors are credited and editors remain responsible for the decision to publish.

Corrections and updates

We correct material factual errors after review and update the visible date when an article has substantially changed. Readers may send correction requests to the editorial contact listed on our Contact page.

Authorship and sources

Bylines identify the principal contributor to a piece. Where reporting uses documents, interviews or public information, a live publication should state material sources or describe the reporting basis when doing so does not put a source at risk. This demonstration build contains editorial sample copy and must be verified before publication as news.

Partner and campaign material

If a partner campaign is activated through the site’s campaign system, the content is presented in a dedicated featured block, visually separated from the article stream and identified as featured partner content. It is not written or formatted as a reader review, testimonial or independent news report. The active campaign copy comes from the operating publisher’s campaign configuration.

Independence and conflicts

Contributors and editors should disclose a material personal, financial or professional interest that could reasonably affect a story. A disclosure does not remove a conflict; it helps readers evaluate the work and guides editorial decisions about assignment and review.
